Kini Zamora Designer#DesignerKini
Kini grew up in a Honolulu townhouse with 12 people, including his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins—it was an incredibly loving and supportive environment. He started designing clothes at age ten. As a young adult, Kini followed his fashion design dreams to FIT. He then returned home and took Honolulu by storm creating his own label Kinizamora.
Kini applied to Project Runway 5 times before being accepted and he made it all the way to the Finale of Season 13. Following his season, Kini returned to Hawaii to continued success as a designer. His hometown even named a day in his name – KiniZamora Day!
He loves his community and loves to give back by speaking to students and other members of the community to inspire them to follow in his path. He recently launched a new collection and started a craft event to help the local community.
Kini credits the show with really boosting his business – not only in Hawaii but all over the world. He currently has clients in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Japan, the UK and Australia. He’s a busy working CEO and he’s putting it all on hold to come back for All Stars. He works from 4 AM to 7 PM everyday and has four lines KZHawaii, Hawaiian Wear KiniZamora Custom, KiniZamora Ready to Wear and KiniZamora Bridal. He has two collections releasing the week before joining All Stars.
